Training for Winter Semester Game Camps

We invite all community members who wish to volunteer with us to join us for a training leading into our game camp schedule for winter semester.
• We want new volunteers to attend so that you’re ready to have a great experience with our camps and so that we can set up schedules to determine when we’ll be working with you over winter semester.
• We want seasoned volunteers to attend so that you can share knowledge and present your take on our role play activities.
• We want volunteers from our recent winter break camps to come and share your new experiences while they’re fresh, and prepare us as we move into our weekly programming.

We’ll also be covering mentoring best practices, role plays, safety concerns, and curriculum for seasonal activities. If you haven’t already, please fill out a volunteer form before attending. The entrance to our location is on MLK Blvd, and there should be plenty of street parking west of MLK.
